Gift Cards for Missionaries
Would you like to be a special blessing to our missionaries when they are visiting? the Missions Committee is putting together a Gift Card Program. The program will allow visiting missionaries to select gift cards in increments of $10 per family member. We are asking that you purchase these gift cards from various restaurants, gas stations, department stores, and grocery stores. Stephanie Quilty will organize the cards and make them available to the missionaries while they are here. Missionary Adoption Program

Dear Church family,

We would like to take this opportunity to ask you to prayerfully consider being part of the Missionary Adoption Program. By becoming an adopter, you will experience the joys of a personal relationship with your missionary family as you become a part of their lives through emails, letters, cards and phone calls. You will not only be encouraging your missionary, but will be receiving encouragement as well as you continue to hear from them throughout the year. After you adopt a missionary family, you can expect to be blessed by the newfound relationship you will have with them.

By becoming an adopter in the Missionary Adoption Program (MAP), it is the hope of the Missions Committee that you will be an active encourager in the lives of your missionary family by praying for them and regularly communicating with them. There are no financial responsibilities involved. All of the missionaries at First Baptist Church of Land O'Lakes are financially supported through our Faith Promise Mission Fund gifts. Below you will find the basic adoption recommendations for you to adequately encourage your missionary:

• Pray daily for your Missionary.
• Send one care package a year at Christmas.
• Write or Email your missionary as often as you can.
• Send special occasion cards (birthdays, holidays, anniversaries).
